Program Specialist at Save the Children

Lisa Richardson has been in the Early Childhood Education and Development field for more than 25 years. She has served a variety of roles within numerous early childhood settings, including family child care, private preschool, Head Start, non-profit child care center, home visitation and higher education.  Her current role as Program Specialist for the Early Steps to School Success home visitation program through Save the Children incudes working with Home Visitors to provide training and technical assistance across the state of Nebraska.

Lisa Richardson has built her educational background in Early Childhood Education to include an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education from Metropolitan Community College; a Bachelors Degree in Human and Social Service Administration and a Masters Degree in Leadership and Executive Coaching from Bellevue University.

Lisa's primary goal in any professional capacity is to provide practical and applicable information through training that others can effectively put into practice to improve the services they provide.
