Wendy Keele

Sixpence Family Educator/Home Visitor at Hastings Public School

Wendy Keele is a Parent Educator for the Adams County Sixpence Program.  She has a B.S. in Home Economics for the University of Idaho, a M.S. in Textiles and Clothings from The Ohio State University, and classes in child development and early childhood education from Hastings College and the University of Nebraska at Kearney.  Wendy is a fervent believer in the importance of secure early childhood attachments and education.  In addition to her position with Sixpence, she has been an Outreach Coordinator for Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), the director of the Area Substance and Alcohol Prevention Coalition (ASAAP) and an Extension Assitant.  Her most valuable and cherished experience has been as the parent of seven children.
