Program Manager at NE DHHS

I am the PRAMS program manager at the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services. I am new to this position, having started in September 2016. Prior to this position I was the community health educator for Reproductive Health with NE DHHS for two years. My background is in sociology. I received my Master of Arts degree from the University of Georgia where I served as the instructor of record for three classes, TA’d for a handful of others, and worked briefly as a research assistant. In my current position I focus mainly on ensuring PRAMS data collection is running smoothly and the use and dissemination of the data we collect. This data is used to promote initiatives that aim to reduce topics like infant mortality, improved access to and adequacy of prenatal care, and prevention of sudden unexpected infant death (SUID) and to develop issue briefs for providers and the general public.
